Welcome to HIFY in 2026

As we move into 2026, HIFY Clinic continues to grow with a clear purpose:

to provide calm, thoughtful, and patient-centred family medicine, supported by safe digital systems and strong clinical governance.

This newsletter introduces our team, our care model, and what to expect as we build and refine our appointment systems in the months ahead.

Meet the HIFY Team

Dr Altine Stanley-Ngada

Family Physician | HIFY Clinic

Dr Altine Stanley-Ngada is a compassionate family physician who believes deeply in caring for the whole person — not just symptoms, but the story, values, and lived experience behind them.

With over 21 years of clinical experience, much of it gained within the UK healthcare system, Dr Stanley-Ngada brings a calm, thoughtful, and patient-centred approach to care. She achieved Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2015, was awarded the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), and obtained Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) in 2024. These reflect a strong foundation in comprehensive, continuity-based family medicine across healthcare systems.

She has a special interest in skin health, supported by a master's degree in clinical Dermatology from King’s College London. This training allows her to assess and manage a wide range of skin conditions while remaining attentive to the emotional and quality-of-life impact of skin health on patients.

Dr Stanley-Ngada is also deeply interested in digital health and health informatics. She is working toward HIMSS certification, with a focus on ethical, safe, and meaningful use of digital tools — supporting transparency, continuity, and systems that genuinely serve both patients and care teams.

Her training includes Certification in Medicine Development from the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians (IFAPP) in collaboration with King’s College London. This background supports strong evidence-based decision-making, transparent patient discussions, and a culture of safety and quality at HIFY.

As a Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP), Dr Stanley-Ngada values long-term, trusting relationships with patients. She is committed to strong information stewardship and clinical governance, ensuring care is delivered safely, consistently, and responsibly.

Outside of medicine, Dr Stanley-Ngada enjoys meeting people, travelling, singing in choirs, dancing at discos, hiking, and gym training — activities that reflect her love of community, movement, and balance.

Her personal promise to every patient:

I will listen carefully, treat you with kindness and respect, and always do my very best to support your health and wellbeing.

Our Integrated Care Team & Northern Health Partnership

Northern Interior Health Unit – Team 4

HIFY Clinic works within a multiprofessional, integrated model of care, recognising that patients are best supported when healthcare professionals collaborate across disciplines and systems.

Through Northern Health, patients benefit from access to nurses, specialists, allied health professionals, diagnostic services, mental health supports, and community programs. This collaboration ensures care is coordinated, continuous, culturally respectful, and supported by clear communication and strong governance.

Appointments at HIFY Clinic: What to Expect

Appointments at HIFY Clinic are structured to support calm, focused, and respectful care. Different concerns require different appointment lengths, and choosing the right appointment helps us care for you safely and effectively.

Urgent Same-Day Appointments

Available for concerns that cannot safely wait, such as new or worsening symptoms.

Monday–Thursday, 4:00–5:30 pm (not available Fridays).

Same-day appointments are time-limited and focused on a single urgent issue.

Planned & Preventive Care

Over time, patients will be invited for preventive and elective health reviews based on age, medical history, and individual needs. This supports long-term wellbeing, not just illness care.

How to Book (January–March)

For now, appointments are requested by email while we finalise our systems.

A personal HIFY patient account with online scheduling will be available soon.

Support if Digital Tools Are Difficult

A dedicated phone line for elderly and non-digital patients is available daily from 7:30–8:30 am. Messages can be left overnight and will be returned during the next support window.

Safe Triage & Choosing the Right Appointment

Our triage system helps guide patients to the right type of appointment and timeframe.

Some concerns are best managed through planned care, while others may need timely review. Same-day appointments are reserved for specific urgent needs and are not suitable for complex or multiple issues.

Clear guidance helps us:

  • Keep urgent slots available for those who need them

  • Protect quality and continuity of care

  • Reduce delays and confusion

January–March: Building Our Systems Together

The first quarter of 2026 is focused on establishing and refining HIFY’s appointment and digital systems. We are grateful for your patience, understanding, and feedback during this period.

Thank you for being part of HIFY Clinic as we build a care system that is thoughtful, accessible, and centred around you.

Warm regards,

HIFY Clinic Team—
